Writer. Activist. Community Organizer. IT Project Manager.
I am a self proclaimed rebel, born and raised in the historic community of Orange Mound in South Memphis, TN. In the summer of 2018, I created a mutual aid effort, the Free Community Food Program, providing free meals to children during summer break. It has been the pleasure of a lifetime to serve as the Founder and Operational Director. I'd like to say that we serve more than just meals, we serve hope.
With politically centered arrests and state cases targeting my activism, the State of Tennessee has attempted to silence my voice and work.
In spite of, I persevere in the name of inherited resilience by continuing my work despite the local and state wide obstacles. I serve as a board member of the Nashville Book Connection and the Global Education Center in Nashville, TN implementing programming that centers literature, youth advocacy and cultural immersion.

From civil disobedience to mutual aid, my bones bleed rebellion, blackness and all things community.

And in the words of our beloved Audre Lorde, "I am deliberate and afraid of nothing.”
